The area is named after bananas that used to be grown there. As the former inhabitants did not speak English well, the original name of Banana hills transformed to Ba-Na hills. The most convenient way to get ther is through the local travel agency by booking a 1-day trip from Da Nang starting at 1.250.000 VND per person. This way transportation and entrance fee is included in the price of the ticket plus you will get a guide to explain more about the location. You will get a cablecar uphill. There are two major highlights to see: - Golden bridge - Amusement park made of miniatures of European architectural sights

On the top of the mountain you can see Busshistic shrines and statues and observe the tranquil landscape. The weather on the top might be tricky, so be ready to take warm clothes with you, as well.
