Winter in Oslo
Winter wonderland in the charming capital of Norway. From the city center to ski slopes in a few minutes.
Few tips before your trip:
1. Public transport works very well, you can choose from trams, trains, busses, and the metro. Use the Vy app to plan your routes, no need to guess what kind of ticket you need. Buy a ticket for your route directly in the app and just hop on the bus/tram/metro.
2. Get dressed properly - forget high heels and light jackets. Always wear woolen tights and a top as a base layer, covering it with a layer of t-shirt or turtle neck and another jumper or thermo jacket below your parka. Donāt forget about winter shoes with woolen socks and you will be unstoppable.
3. Be careful - even in the city center, if thereās lots of snowing, pedestrian zones, and pavements often remain covered by ice and snow.
